Morocco-the land of mystique and intrigue...Join us for a cooking lesson on tagines, a centuries old cooking technique that uses a special pot and a slow, moist cooking method. The flavors are incredible and unique and just perfect for a frosty winter's night. Each dish will be prepared in an authentic tagine beginning with a Red Onion and Cinnamon Tagine. Then we'll make a fragrant Chickpea and Tomato Tagine followed by a succulent Tagine of Chicken with Preserved Lemons. We'll end with a dessert tagine of Dried Fruits simmered in Honey Wine Sauce with Cinnamon Nutmeg Dumplings. Class level: beginner. Class style: demonstration.
