Ah Chocolat! Whether you've seen the movie or not everyone can identify with the intense thrill that only accompanies a mouthful of rich, creamy chocolate. In tonight's class we'll sample four different chocolate desserts. First some luscious chocolate enrobed in tender puff pastry known as Pain Au Chocolat. Then we'll make a Queen of Sheba cake (delicious dark chocolate flavored with almond and Amaretto). Our third dish, individual Galettes au Chocolat, is based on the French open pastry known by the same name. And for our finale we'll make Chocolate Banana Brulee Bites. While you may not pass out from ecstasy in the front store window like the mayor in the movie you'll definitely go home very happy! Class level: beginner.
