Wednesday, November 17 “Tapas Revisited"

Instructor: Chef George Albiez, CEC. Last year Chef George wowed a sold-out audience with his Spanish Tapas class so we're bringing them back. This year's tapas will feature such dishes as Batter Fried Shrimp, clams in Spicy Tomato Sauce, Albonidagas (pork balls,) Flamenquines (potato and vegetable salad,) and Chorizo with Wine and Pimientos. Making a return engagement, however will be the most popular recipe from last year's class - Garlic Aioli. Chef Albiez, a Certified Executive Chef of the American Culinary Federation, is an honors graduate of the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago. He is currently an instructor of Culinary Arts at Ivy Tech and has owned and operated a catering Business, Culinary Creations for the past ten years. Class level: beginner. Class style: demonstration.
