Instructors: Kevin Hogan and Judy Shertzer, This class combines a chance to sample some sparkling wines and champagnes before the holiday party season with some food pairings you probably haven't thought about. Champagne pairs wonderfully with a wide variety of dishes (other than caviar and strawberries,) and we'll present a sampling of those to you tonight. Some of the dishes we will enjoy will be domonstrated by Judy during the class. Kevin Hogan was certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers in 1999. He has spent 12 years in the wine industry and is currently the owner of The Vine and Spririts. Judy Shertzer has headed the Good Gourmet Cooking School since its inception. She is currently the featured chef on WNDU's Friday Morning News Program and teaches both at the Good Gourmet and for private classes. Students over 21 only, please. Class level: Beginner.
