Instructor: Staff. The cuisine of the California wine country is rightfully famous for its interesting combination of fresh ingredients. While we won’t serve wine during class, we’ll make up some recipes appropriate to some popular California varietals. To go with Champagne, we’ll make a Warm Olive and Fennel Antipasto. Our Chardonnay will compliment a dish of Pan Seared Sea Scallops with a Parsley Lemon Relish, a hearty Cabernet Sauvignon is the perfect match for Veal Chops with Olives, Capers and Sage and any dessert wine will make the grade with our dessert of Honey Coffee Crème Brulee. Class level: intermediate. Class style: demonstration.
