Wednesday, September 10, 6-8 p.m. “Mystery of Spices”

Instructor: Chef David Russo. Looking for inspiration in your cooking but not sure how to spice it up? This class will provide you with that inspiration. We will discuss matching spices with food, how to create a mix of spices to reflect a particular cuisine, and will prepare dishes using different spice combinations to compare and contrast. You'll go home knowing what to do with all the spices in your pantry. Chef Russo is a 1996 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He is currently an instructor for the Culinary Arts Program at Ivy Tech and is the owner of Epicure, an at-home-professional chef and catering service. Class level: beginner.
