Tuesday, October 14, “Farmer's Market for the Fall

Instructor: Chef Kip Peters. We explore the culinary trend perfected by Alice Waters of Chez Panisse by cooking what's in season at our local Farmer's Market. Chef Kip will select from the wide assorrtment of products fresh for the Fall and create a full menu, from appetizer to dessert, based on what the local farmers are bringing to market. Chef Peters has been the Executive Chef of the south Bend Country Club. He is currently President of the South Bend chapter of the American Culinary Federation and was 2001 Chef of the Year. He also serves as part time Adjunct Professor at the Culinary Arts program at Ivy Tech State College. Class level: beginner. Class style: demonstration.
