Our tour of South American cuisine continues to the South, the land of the pampas, where a fusion of many cuisines regularly grace the dinner table. We'll make a Cream of Avocado Soup with Potatoes, Ground Beef and Yuca patties, a Polenta Casserole with Sofrito, Ham and Cheese and a luscious dessert of Poached Pears with a Dulce de Leche Sauce.
