It is on Monte da Oliveira Velha, between Évora and Estremoz, that our Amor é Cego is born. In the family for three generations, this is a special place in the heart of Alentejo. There are 5 hectares lined with olive trees that our grandfather took care of all his life. This is where the olives that make Amor é Cego olive oil grow. A dream that we realized in 2015, of which we are proud and which preserves and honors a rich heritage, with more than 7 decades.
It is a single varietal extra virgin olive oil from Galega, cold pressed, which is balanced and harmonious, preserving the matrix of Galega variety: ripe fruity, with notes of tomato and dried fruit and a slightly spicy finish.
Tasting it in the shade of the olive trees where it comes from and in the company of those who produce it can be unforgettable. For us it is always inspiring to receive. Come and discover our history. We offer a genuine experience that could be just a tasting in our company or a special meal in the shade of an ancient olive tree.
