Before being a company, we are a big family. Since 1960 we have been taking care of our land to obtain its beauty. We transform your visits into a simple and fun experience, in that atmosphere that only the slow pace of nature can create.
Our wines are natural, re-fermented in the bottle, produced with the ancestral method, a bit like the wine of the past, some say. In truth, our winemaking method comes from years of experimentation and study, and allows each grape to express itself in all its potential, from year to year.
Thus we produce wines more closely from the Piacenza area such as Gutturnio, and we vinify the most typical grapes such as Ortrugo and Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Croatina and Barbera, which we call with fancy names.
There is no shortage of international vines that take on ever-changing notes in the bottle thanks to the ancestral method, thus obtaining new interpretations of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Instead, we produce our Santa Maria (from the name of the vine itself) from an ancient and native vine, a quality of non-aromatic white grape grown in the Vigoleno area for centuries for the production of Vin Santo di Vigoleno.
With a strong historical connotation and true fruit of tradition is precisely the Vin Santo di Vigoleno, one of the smallest DOCs in Italy, a sweet and aged wine, with a very limited production.
