In the heart of Provence, in the center of the village of Cairanne, 4 generations of enthusiasts have followed one another on the family farm. Lovers of land and wine, Nadine and Stéphane created the cellar and vinified their first vintage in 2011. The vineyard with an area of 30ha located on clay-limestone soils begins on the terraces of Aygues up to the highest plots of the mountain, which dominate the entire Rhône plain.
The vines over 50 years old are the subject of all the attention, worked in a reasoned way with numerous ploughings, organic fertilizers, short pruning and controlled treatments for the greatest respect of the soil. The exclusively manual harvest is sorted first by the cutters and then a second time in the cellar on a sorting table. The vinification is carried out in concrete vats thermo-regulated in the traditional way. The vatting varies from 20 to 30 days, it is punctuated by pumping over and daily racking. Aging continues for 10 months in vats and 12 to 18 months in demi-muid (600-litre barrels). The wines are bottled without fining or filtration.
