We make love in the vineyard. This is our story of love, wisdom and effort from the wine-growing great-grandparents of Traspinedo and … to us; Emilio Lubiano and Mónica Peñas in Pesquera de Duero, Valladolid. Love, work and respect for the terroir and the quality of our wines is the purpose of this family project to create (or give birth to) wines with their own identity in the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin. Our winery is located on the golden mile of the DO Ribera de Duero. More specifically in Pesquera de Duero.

Our wines are made from grapes from our own vineyards, some of them surrounding the winery itself. While others are located in various places with different climatological and educational characteristics that add complexity and elegance to our wines.

Complex but at the same time subtle and elegant wines: We make our wines with one word elegance in mind. Always looking for the silkiness (velvet) of the wine in the mouth.

A place to enjoy great wines: At Velvety Wines-Dominio Lubiano we offer various experiences to visitors, in which we provide close and personalized treatment, since we ourselves (the owners) are the ones who carry out these visits.

Experience 1. Guided tour of the winery and a tasting of three of our wines, accompanied by a small aperitif. The price is €15 and the duration is approximately one hour and a half.

Experience 2. Guided tour of the winery and the vineyards, a tasting of three of our wines at the “golden mile” viewpoint, accompanied by a small aperitif. The price is €30 and it lasts about two and a half hours.
