The history of our family began in the Modena plain, north of Modena between two small hamlets, Gargallo di Carpi and Ganaceto di Modena.
Growing up in a peasant family following in the footsteps of his father Ugo, our father Giuseppe from an early age always loved to say, jokingly, that he was born in a barrel, testifying to the great love he had for this which, more than his work, has always been his great passion: the production of Lambrusco and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. In fact, it was customary that at the birth of a child, a barrel or an entire battery of barrels was dedicated to the newborn who, once an adult, he would have inherited a small “patrimony” of precious black liquid.
Taking up this ancient tradition, the Fiorini family has kept the barrels in their attics for years, meticulously caring for them every year.
In 2011, with the entire production of wine, the company decided to move to the hills, but we kept the 5 hectares of vineyards near the historic headquarters of Ganaceto in the plains for the production of Lambrusco di Sorbara and the production of Balsamic Vinegar both IGP and DOP.
