We are a young winery from the DO Pla de Bages with 11 hectares of vineyard, a cellar, a tasting room and shop, located in Avinyó, in Bages region (Barcelona). We currently have 6 references: two white wines (Instant de flor, Opositor Blanc) and four red wines (Avinius Merlot-Sirah, Opositor Noir, Aestus, Desbordant). This project started in 2008, when the old stables of our estate were transformed into the small cellar we have today. It started as a hobby for Mario Monrós, the founder and owner of the estate, because of his love for wine culture and his aim of recuperating the vines 60 years after they disappeared in this area. In 2018 we started the small-scale commercialization of our productions and, since then, we have already received two very significant recognitions: our 2017 Merlot/Syrah has obtained the Gold Medal at the 2019 Bruxelles Concours Mondial, the only gold medal of our D.O., and Guía Peñín from Spain has scored our wines with 91 points for its 2020 edition.
