It started in 1987 in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia (Barcelona), which is the birthplace of cava with excellence and reputation, located in a small corner area that would give name to both the winery and its cavas: El Xamfrà.
In 2016, the facilities were moved to the town of Torrelavit, and as a sign of respect for the building that houses us, an old paper mill, the name of the winery was changed to Molí Parellada in its honor, maintaining El Xamfrà as the brand name of its most emblematic cavas.
Three decades later, this winery exports some of the best cavas in Penedès.
