Borselli, the gift of being born in Tuscany
Poderi Borselli was started in 1996 thanks to my father Fausto’s idea to recover some abandoned systems around the family farm. He also decided to invest in the research of native clones of ancient vines and secular olive trees. The unique microclimate of this valley, called “The Golden Wide Valley”, has helped the growth of vineyards and olive groves which are, by their nature, resistant to adverse climatic events and highly suited to make quality products that feature unique aromas and flavours. To date, Poderi Borselli numbers more than 5.000 olive trees (mainly Olivastra Seggianese) and 2 hectares of vineyards.
The farm has been organized to hold all the processes related to the wine and the extra virgin olive oil organic production. The upper area of Poderi Borselli hosts the family farmhouse “Olivastra” where guests have the chance to taste our organic olive oils and wines in typical dishes from the Tuscan cuisine.
For us, absolute excellence, which is awarded every year at an international level, also means a sustainable energy that respects nature using organic agriculture and renewable resources.
