Wine Estate Sturm is located in Cormòns, Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in North Eastern part of Italy, in the heart of Collio. We manage 18 hectares of vines using organic farming method since 2014, with an average out-put of 120.000 bottles per year. White wines cover 90% of the production but there are also super red wines with small quantities and great character, aged in oak barrels.

With organic farming concept the vineyards provide ideal living conditions for microorganisms in the soil but also for many wild animals such as birds and insects. This leads to a natural state of balance above and below the ground that translates into great vitality in our wines.

The philosophy is focused on crafting high-quality wines with nice fruity expression, beautiful acidity and minerality. We avoid any oxidation during the winemaking process in order to preserve freshness and assure a low sulfites content. Our winemaking focuses on preserving precision and varietal purity, bringing out the essence of each grape we grow to the highest degree possible. Passion and know how for genuine wine!

We produce two types of wine: certified Organic wines, with spontaneous fermentation and aging in wood, which are represented by the white label as a “natural storm” – fluid signs drawn by the children; the Classic Wines are mostly aged in steel tanks and are associated by the black label as a “technological storm” with precise and geometric shapes created with computer art. This idea guides the two souls of the winery.
