The emblem of the Giusti Wine project is the new, state of the art 5-floors underground cellar going 8 meters underground.
The winery was built in full respect of Giusti Wine’s philosophy, in complete harmony with the landscape that hosts it, which is subject to environmental constraints. Designed to reproduce the natural movement of the hills, it is overlooked by a vineyard to be even better integrated into the landscape.
The visit has a dedicated itinerary, in full compliance with safety regulations: through a promenade between the production sites, visitors will discover how the wine is made, the characteristics of the different grape varieties and the history of founder Ermenegildo Giusti.
The route continues up to the small underground square enhanced by trees and a veil of cascading water, the perfect place for a refreshing break, and it leads up to the panoramic viewpoint, to enjoy the view of the estate vineyards, Montello and Abbazia di Sant’Eustachio. It is located at Abbazia di Sant’Eustachio’s feet, in the heart of Tenuta Sienna, one of the ten estates where grapes destined to become Asolo Prosecco Superiore are grown.
The cellar is an important tourist attraction for a territory that, in the last three years, has seen the number of tourists increase by 400% – with almost 3000 visitors to the winery.
