Trebbiano is a crisp, dry white grape that develops an intense aromatic complexity. It has a round shape and a light color, with a fruity taste. They pair well with seafood dishes and salads, or can be enjoyed alone on its own.
The grapes are harvested late in the season and then undergo malolactic fermentation and aging in oak barrels for at least three years. The resulting wine is pale yellow to golden in color with a straw color to its delicate foam.
Trebbiano is a full bodied wine with a yellow tint. It has a powdery, earthy quality and an aromatic nose that smells of ripe fruits that are reminiscent of melons, citrus fruits, and tropical fruits like apple and pear. When tasted, it has a crisp, clean quality that is both fruity and refreshing.
