Vermentino is a grape variety known for its fresh and fruity taste. It has an elegant aroma and a soft, round taste.

Vermentino has a very aromatic nose with notes of citrus, flowers, and minerals. It is best drunk young and fresh on its own or as an ingredient in cocktails such as the Negroni or Martini. It pairs well with seafood dishes because its acidic taste cuts through rich sauces and fish dishes.

Some of the most notable DOC made from Vermentino are: Vermentino di Sardegna, Riviera Ligure di Ponente Vermentino , Colli di Luni Vermentino, Candia dei Colli Apuani, Bolgheri Vermentino in Italy, and Côtes du Roussillon AOC in France.
