Brunello di montalcino Riserva docg - Vigna Montosoli 2015
Brunello di Montalcino Riserva perfectly combines with truffle or porcini mushroom pasta (tagliolini or pappardelle). Second courses such as stuffed meat, wild boar, beef, the sumptuous Fiorentina steak and beef with truffle filet.
Brunello di Montalcino goes perfectly with game based dishes such as stews, braised meats, wild boar, guinea fowl or duck based but also roasted veal and
pork. First courses rich in seasonings such as with wild boar ragout, or Tuscan Pappardelle. Brunello di Montalcino, especially if more advanced, is also very convincing with very mature rich cheeses.
Perfect with first courses of land, pasta with vegetables, lasagna, to be combined with the second courses of the land cuisine, it is excellent with grilled pork.
Perfect combinations with medium-aged and stretched curd cheeses, cold cuts, fatty fish and white meats, even grilled or roasted, and first courses rich in seasoning.
Ideal thanks to the acidity to degrease the greasiness even for fatty fish such as tuna and salmon.
Rosso di Montalcino is ideal for less elaborate first and second courses based on rabbit, chicken, turkey and lamb. It also goes well with medium aged cheeses.
