Syrah is a fruity, spicy wine with a strong red color that comes from the grape variety called Syrah. A Syrah wine is often used for making red wines, but it can also be used to make rosé wines and white wines. It is typically made in France and Italy.

The grapes are usually grown in the Rhone Valley of France and southern Italy. They are best suited to regions with hot summers, cool winters and good rainfall. The grapes are harvested during late September through early October and are then handpicked; this allows for the grapes to develop their full potential before being fermented into wine. The grapes must be at least 90% ripe when picked and must be stored under controlled conditions until they’re ready for fermentation (which can take up to two weeks).

Syrah has a buttery texture and sweet taste; it has notes of black pepper
